College enrollment in agricultural fields is increasing across the board, but enrollment of women is growing faster than that of men.
“Since 2008, female enrollment has increased by 19.9 percent while male enrollment increased by nine percent. This followed an eight percent increase in females and five percent increase in males between 2004 and 2008,” notes a recent post by the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities.
