Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern is anything but squeamish—his forte is sampling Bizarre Foods—but he got pretty animated last week when he reached into the rumen of a UW dairy cow to get some footage for an upcoming show. In addition to getting up close and personal with partially processed fodder, he also interviewed CDR’s Mark Johnson and dairy science grazing specialist Dave Combs for a segment on the unique flavor that a pasture diet gives to dairy products. He posted the footage on his own website. Details on when the episode will air will be forthcoming.
