This week’s UW mission to China includes new dairy partnership for CALS

Dean VandenBosch and several others from CALS are among the participants in Chancellor Ward’s mission to China this week. On June 12, Chancellor Ward and Dean VandenBosch signed a letter of intent to establish a new research and training partnership between the Babcock Institute for International Dairy Research and Development and the Shanghai Dairy Group, a private enterprise involved in dairy production, processing and research. Also along from CALS are John Ferrick, director of international programs for CALS, Karen Nielsen, director of the Babcock Institute, and Kent Weigel and Dave Combs from Dairy Science.
