Take time this week to give feedback on HR Design Project Phase 2 recommendations
If you haven’t already, please take time this week to provide feedback on the recommendations of the Phase 2 work teams of the Human Resources Design Project.
As Chancellor Ward described it, the recommendations of the HR project work teams’ recommendations are “the beginning of an evolution toward a new personnel system at UW-Madison.” The Phase II teams’ efforts focus on Transition and Succession, Performance Management, Workplace Flexibility and Employee Development.
The Phase 2 teams are seeking feedback that they can use to refine the recommendations. There are still several campus engagement opportunities:
- 9–11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, in the Memorial Union’s Great Hall. The session will be in English and Spanish.
- 11 p.m. on May 22 (designed for second- and third-shift workers) in the Class of 1924 Reception Room in the Memorial Union. The session will last 90 minutes and will be in English, Tibetan and Hmong.
- Phase 2 team members will answer questions and take comments on the draft recommendations during a Web chat from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23. You can join the web chat here.
Questions or comments may also be sent to hrdesign@news.wisc.edu
The phase 2 teams will integrate the feedback into revised recommendations to be released Tuesday, June 19.
