Jessica Kazmierczak receives Keylon Braxton Award

The CALS Student Association is proud to recognize graduating senior Jessica Kazmierczak by presenting her with the Keylon Braxton Award. This award is presented to undergraduate students who have left a legacy upon CALS through involvement in student organizations, undergraduate research, volunteer work, and maintaining good academic standing.

Jessica’s extensive work as the president of CHARS, as an organizer of the Undergraduate Research Symposium, as a student advisor at SOAR, as a participant in undergraduate research, and in countless other activities has been exemplary. In four years in CALS, Jessica has been an active leader and an inspiration for her peers. After graduation, she will be pursuing a Masters of Science program in Public Health in Germany.

This award was established in memory of the late Keylon Braxton, who served as as a CALS assistant dean and advisor to the CALS Student Council.
