Expect a lot of foot traffic along Babcock Drive on Saturday. The UW’s annual family gardening extravaganza takes place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the D.C. Smith Greenhouses, the Allen Centennial Gardens and Steenbock Library, with inevitable side trips to the Babock Dairy Store. Kids are welcome—there will be all sorts of hands-on activities to engage them. So are grown-ups, who can get a lot of good gardening info from the demonstrations and experts on hand. Details are available in this Wisconsin State Journal story and in this earlier eCALS announcement. This entry was posted in Highlights by . Bookmark the permalink.
