NPM program releases 2011 report of accomplishments

The Nutrient & Pest Management (NPM) Program recently published its 2011 annual accomplishment report, available here online.

The NPM Program is an education and outreach unit within both CALS and UW Cooperative Extension. Its mission is to support Wisconsin farmers agricultural professionals in the adoption of agricultural management practices that protect water quality while maintaining or improving farm profitability. Additionally, the NPM Program connects farmers and researchers to exchange knowledge on key issues of profitability, practicality, and environmental impact of crop production practices and cropping systems.

Questions or comments about the report’s content or the NPM Program can be sent to Scott Sturgul at or 608-262-7486.
