CALS employment opportunity: Research administrator

The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) is currently recruiting for a Research Administrator. This position, which is a part of the Research Division/Wisconsin Agricultural Experiment Station (WAES) of the College, will primarily focus on advising and supporting pre-award sponsored research activities in CALS. Pre-award activities will require interacting directly with investigators, faculty/staff, departments/centers, campus administrators, and sponsors/agencies in preparation, submission, and negotiation of applications/proposals, agreements, and contracts.

A BA/BS degree is required with at least three years of substantial involvement in research administration, including direct experience with grants, contracts, and sponsored research; federal and non-federal sponsors/agencies; and program, budgetary, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
