Dale Schoeller: Trips to the gym won’t prevent packing on holiday pounds

People who burn a lot of calories are not less vulnerable than couch-potato counterparts to putting on pounds during the holiday season, according to research led by Dale Schoeller, CALS Professor of Nutritional Sciences. He talks about the findings in this article in the Chicago Tribune. “This idea of regulating body weight by being a very active individual that exercises a lot is not being supported by our study,” Schoeller says.
