This announcement concerns a 1-credit workshop course in dissertation writing and presentation strategies (General Business 975) that will be offered in the coming Spring 2012 semester. In the past, we have had graduate students from outside the School of Business take this course, and we have been pleased to have them take part. A diversity of backgrounds and interests can offer fresh perspectives on one’s research and writing and generate interesting cross-disciplinary conversations.
This is geared towards graduate students who may have an interest in this class—as well as to other faculty members who act as Ph.D. advisors.
This workshop course reviews dissertation writing strategies, using sample documents and participants drafts. Class sessions also include discussion of oral communication strategies and presentations of dissertation proposals/research.
Enrollment is limited to 12 students. For additional details, contact David Ward: email@example.com.
