Free employee bus passes available all next week at Steenbock Library

Next week is far and away the most convenient opportunity for CALS employees to pick up a free 2011-2012 UW employee bus pass. They’ll be available Monday through Friday in 240 Steenbock Library from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you can’t wait, you can get them this week at UW Hospital and Clinics.

Faculty, academic staff, classified employees, LTEs, emeriti, and UW Health Employees are encouraged to pick up their free pass, a commuter solution subsidized 100 percent by UW Transportation Services and UW Health.

To pick up your 2011-2012 complimentary pass, simply present your UW Employee WisCard or UW Hopsital ID at any of the following distribution times and locations:*

  • Monday, August 22 – Friday, August 26, UW Hospital and Clinics,H4/1 Elevator Lobby 10 a.m.—6 p.m.

During mass distribution Transportation Services will NOT distribute passes at our normal office locations due to heavy volume of customers. After these dates you may again pick up your pass during normal business hours at our offices throughout the year.

*State Historical Society, UW Foundation, Alumni Association, and WARF/WICELL employees must retrieve their passes directly from their respective organizations.  Graduate assistants and student hourly positions are not eligible for an employee bus pass, but may pick up a student pass from ASM if they pay segregated fees. Members of the Retirement Association are not eligible for a complimentary pass.
