2011 Leopold Lecture offers Leopold film double-feature — April 26
We invite you to join us for this year’s Aldo Leopold Lecture in Natural Resources. Professor Susan Flader, University of Missouri, will present “Green Fire: Searching for the Site of Aldo Leopold’s Iconic Encounter with Wolves.” The lecture is scheduled for April 26 at 4 PM in 108 Plant Sciences on the UW-Madison campus.
A second, related event will take place at 7 PM in 1510 Microbial Sciences Building with a screening of the documentary film “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and A Land Ethic for Our Time.” The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Professor Stan Temple, UW-Madison; Professor Susan Flader, University of Missouri; and Dr. Curt Meine, Senior Fellow, Leopold Foundation.
