DATCP Specialty Crop Grants: If you plan to submit a proposal for the DATCP Specialty Crop grant opportunity, either as the primary applicant or as a subcontract, please get in touch with your preaward contact in the CALS Research Division as early as possible this week. There are a few additional considerations with these submissions, such as a cost share requirement and budgetary restrictions, and we want to be sure that we have an opportunity to address these well in advance of the submission deadline. Submissions for the Specialty Crop Grants program are due to DATCP by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15. As a guideline, budgetary and cost share information should be ready for review by CALS on Wednesday, March 9, and full proposals should be ready for CALS review and sign-off by Friday, March 11. This is a guideline only – the CALS Research Division will strive to ensure that all proposals for this opportunity are institutionally approved and successfully submitted by the deadline. For more information, the DATCP Specialty Crop Grant website is http://datcp.wi.gov/Business/Grants_and_Financial_Aid/Specialty_Crops_Grants/index.aspx, and CALS Research Division preaward contacts are listed at http://www.cals.wisc.edu/research/staff/index.php?1?Cp8.
USDA-NIFA AFRI Letters of Intent: Please remember to copy your preaward contact in the CALS Research Division on AFRI LOI submissions or forward your LOI to him or her after it has been submitted. AFRI LOI’s are not required to be routed via WISPER; however, providing your submission to your contact in the CALS Research Division allows us to document and ensure that this important step has been completed, and it is a great help to us in planning ahead for AFRI deadlines.
As always, thanks for your help and cooperation! This entry was posted in Funding Opportunities, Research by gldavison. Bookmark the permalink.
