Leane Oliveira, a PhD student with the Department of Dairy Science under Dr. Pamela Ruegg received an award for her research proposal submitted to the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Leane’s proposal, “Risk factors related with treatment outcomes and antimicrobial resistance of Gram-positive pathogens isolated from bovine clinical mastitis” was one of four funded proposals, out of 14 submitted.
