Health professionals: Apply to preview Translational Health Research PhD programs

Degreed health professionals in public health, medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, pharmacy and biomedical engineering interested in enhancing their careers are invited to apply to attend an expenses-paid preview day on Monday, Nov. 8 to learn about PhD programs in Translational Health Research at the UW-Madison.

Affliated programs include Animal Sciences, Clinical Investigation, Comparative Biomedical Sciences and Population Health Sciences & Epidemiology.

Application are due on Wednesday, Sept. 15. Individuals selected to attend the preview day will be provided with airfare, meals and lodging for one night. They will be invited to participate in a variety of activities to learn more about the four participating graduate programs, the university and Madison. During the visit, participants will have an opportunity to meet with faculty, program staff and current students. Attendees from UW-Madison as well as outside of campus are welcome.

* Intro to graduate programs
* Meet with faculty researchers
* Lunch & panel with current graduate students
* Meet with graduate program coordinators
* Ice cream social
* Optional campus tour
