LSC student earns scholarship from National Farm Broadcasters

A CALS student is one of three winners from across the nation to receive scholarship money from the National Association of Farm Broadcasters Foundation.

Julie Martin of Hartford will earn $4,000 to be used for her degree in communications.

The NAFB Foundation is committed to the future of the ag and rural broadcasting industry, and awards the scholarships each year to upper-classmen who aspire to start a career in ag broadcasting and/or ag communications.

In addition to the scholarship, Martin will get to attend the NAFB Annual convention in Kansas City later this fall.
