If you missed last Friday’s workshop on dairy competition and regulation, you missed a spectacle (it’s not often that a meeting on dairy policy involves a bank of TV cameras, a motorcade, searches of handbags and a bomb-sniffing dog) and a lot of emphatic and often emotional testimony from farmers and industry experts from across the nation.
