The Chronicle of Higher Education posted a nice tribute to F.H. King on its website on June 8, King’s birthday. CHE writer Scott Carlson describes King’s classic book, Farmers of Forty Centuries, published in 1911, as “required reading for anyone interested in sustainable agriculture or sustainability generally.” He notes that King urged agricultural scholars of the times to study ancient agricultural practices.This entry was posted in Around CALS, Highlights by .
