CALS “Wisconsin’s Best” lecture looks at milk – April 20th

CALS Lecture Series: Wisconsin’s Best- Milk. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 4:45 – 5:45 p.m., Ebling Symposium Center, Microbial Sciences Building.

Learn the inside story behind Wisconsin’s official state beverage: milk. Wisconsin dairy farms produce an impressive 24 billion pounds of milk a year. Pamela Ruegg, professor of dairy science, will take us through the process of producing this tasty and nutritious drink. After the presentation, guests will be treated to a glass of Babcock’s own.
