On Wednesday, Jan. 27, the CALS community will gather to reflect on the past year’s challenges and accomplishments and talk about future directions for the college. Please plan to join Interim Dean Irwin Goldman and the CALS Administrative team at 3 p.m.on Wednesday in the Ebling Symposium Center, Rm 1220 Microbial Sciences Building, for our annual state-of-the-college meeting.
This will be a participatory exercise. You will be encouraged to ask questions and express your views. To help you prepare, we have posted background documents with information pertaining to two of the topics that will be raised at the meeting:

- Summary of the 2009-10 CALS budget reduction process
During the meeting, Professor John Stier will be presenting a proposal from the CALS Curriculum Committee to streamline existing degrees into a single B .S. degree. For details on the committee’s recommendations about the CALS undergraduate degree structure, visit the Curriculum Committee Web page.
