Tired of ice and snow? It might help to remind yourself that, for most of the year, this end of campus is far from monochromatic. A good way to d0 so is to take a virtual trip to the Allen Centennial Gardens by perusing the latest issue of The Centurion, the garden’s newsletter. The newsletter is splashed with colorful photos of last summer’s extremely popular ornamental edibles themed displays. There are also quite a few “before, during and after” photos of number of much-needed renovation projects conducted last summer. Accompanying the pictures is ACG director Ed Lyon’s account of what was accomplished in the garden during 2009 and what’s planned for 2010.This entry was posted in Around CALS by .
