Agronomy groups looking to hire ag policy liaison based in D.C.

The American Society of Agronomy (ASA) and International Certified Crop Advisers (ICCA) are seeking an Agricultural Policy Liaison in their Science Policy Office in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities: developing and shepherding legislation, federal rules, and regulations; developing grassroots advocacy efforts; building relationships with key agricultural stakeholders; organizing meetings with Congressional and White House offices and federal agencies; and building support for ASA and ICCA interests during the budget and appropriations process.
