CALS proposals make the cut in the 1st round of Madison Initiative for Undergraduates
Chancellor Biddy Martin and the Madison Initiative for Undergraduates Oversight Committee have identified eight proposals to become the first recipients of funding from the innovative program. Of those, three were submitted by CALS or had a CALS letter of support.
- Campuswide Shared Adviser Notes System. The proposal funds a system to capture notes of interactions between students and advisers so the information can be used as a resource.
- Globalizing Undergraduate Education. The proposal funds short-term international experiences and internationalizes course content.
- International Internship Program. The program will cultivate international internship experiences for UW-Madison students.roposal funds short-term international experiences and internationalizes course content.
There is still time to get your proposal in for the next round. The new CALS deadline for proposals is Nov. 16.
