On September 22, the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems (CIAS) celebrated its 20th anniversary with cake and camaraderie. The festivities were launched with an original orchestral composition by Mike Bell, professor of Community and Environmental Sociology, and cake cutting by Dean Molly Jahn. Past directors, faculty associates, Vice Dean Irwin Goldman and members of the CIAS Citizens Advisory Council spoke of the history and continued importance of CIAS’s research and outreach on sustainable agriculture. Many thanks to everyone who attended, and to the Horticulture Department for hosting this event.
