Who Should Attend?
Anyone thinking about a career in medicine or currently in the medical school application process should attend this seminar. Applications are accepted moving into November – there are many people out there with questions. Now is the time to perfect your personal statements – attend this seminar for a competitive edge! Make sure to bring drafts of letters you have already written.

What will we learn at this workshop?
You will learn what makes a good personal statement for medical school applications. The session is led by Dr. Duello (see below for more information) who is both a professor and has served on admissions committees for medical school and other science-related graduate school programs. With this combined experience, Dr. Duello is a great resource on what it takes to succeed/gain admission to various graduate/professional programs.

Tell me more about Dr. Duello.
Professor Duello has taught biology, conducted biological research (basic and clinical), and provided biology advising to undergraduates for 26 years on the UW-Madison campus.
