With musings on sharks teeth, Sean Carroll’s column debuts in NYT
In a Shark’s Tooth, a New Family Tree is the title of a piece by Sean Carroll published in the Science Times section of New York Times last Tuesday. This is the first installment of Carroll’s new “more or less monthly” column for the newspaper. The column is called Remarkable Creatures, the same title as Carroll’s recently released book, “Remarkable Creatures: Epic Adventures in the Search for the Origin of Species.” Carroll is a professor in the Laboratory of Genetics and an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the UW-Madison.
