Learn@UW hybrid course, in person and online

Instructors who want to better understand how students use Learn@UW or who have considered moving their course materials online are invited to an innovative Learn@UW “hybrid” training course this summer.This two-week training is designed to provide faculty, instructors and teaching assistants with the tools and skills needed to develop a well-integrated Learn@UW online course. The course consists of two face-to-face, traditional classroom sessions and three sessions conducted entirely online. The course introduces a variety of tools within Learn@UW, including live online chats, discussion boards, posting and retrieving content, and online quizzing.

The course begins on May 26 and is open to all faculty, staff, instructors and teaching assistants working with a timetable course. A limited number of seats is available. For enrollment information, please visit academictech.doit.wisc.edu/event/intro-learnuw-hybrid.
