Upcoming trainings to make getting grants easier: Mark your calendars

  • Cayuse training for proposal submission to USDA, NIH, EPA, and others
  • WISPER refresher and discussion
  • January 28, 1:30-3:30 pm – Cayuse training, focused on preparing proposals for the upcoming USDA AFRI. We’ll talk about subawards.com, and there will also be time for questions about preparing proposals in Cayuse for other federal agencies (NIH, EPA, etc). Training will be held in the computer lab in Animal Sciences (150).

    February 19, 10:00 am – WISPER refresher/discussion. This is a hands-on question and answer session about WISPER, where everyone is encouraged to bring questions or topics PI’s and administrators might have about how and when to use the program. Training will be held in the Animal Sciences computer lab (150).

    Other upcoming trainings this spring – watch for dates: Training on PI changes, rebudgeting, no-cost extensions, etc.; Roundtable dicsussions with post-award specialist Sandy Fowler about post-award accounting, transfers, and making closeout as easy as possible.
