If communications is part of your job, please join us for the next CALS communicators meeting on Tuesday, February 24th from 9–10:15 a.m. in room 6205 of the Microbial Science Building. New media specialist Don Stanley will demonstrate a variety of online tools designed to make our lives as communicators easier.

Don joined the CALS Communications Program in 2002, and has been heading up the College’s web initiatives ever since. He is also a faculty associate in the Life Sciences Communication department, where he teaches web design and new media classes.

At the upcoming meeting, he’ll lead us on a tour of a dozen or so useful websites—places to go for free photos, easy photo editing, tools to monitor web traffic, word processing applications that make it easy to “group edit” documents, project management applications and more! Also, please come prepared to share information about the online tools that you use and love.
