Any classified employee, including limited term and project employees, who are required by the employer to purchase approved safety shoes are entitled to a level of reimbursement by their respective collective bargaining agreement. The instructions on how to process the 2008 Safety Shoe Allowance Payments have been issued by Classified Human Resources.
A copy of the instructions was emailed directly to CALS Center and Department Administrators on October 17, 2008.
