As done in 2007, a mass email message was sent on Oct. 2 to UW Madison employees regarding Dual Choice and fall enrollment opportunities. A separate email message was sent to employees eligible for Dual Choice for Regular health insurance and Graduate Assistant health insurance, annual enrollment for Employee Reimbursement Account (ERA), and one message that contains information on the “open” enrollments for OptumHealth Vision (formerly Spectera), Dental Insurance, UW Employees Inc. Life Insurance, and the “special” enrollment for Dental & Excess Medical EPIC insurance.
Hard copies of information will be sent to employees who do not have email and/or receive hard copy earnings statements for dual choice books (regular or graduate assistant), Employee Reimbursement Account, and one flyer will be sent outlining information for the other enrollment opportunities.
Employees whose enrollment materials for health insurance were not received and input before 9/24/08, will not receive either an email or hard copy of the dual choice materials. The UW Service Center is creating a list of these employees and will be sending out an email or hard copy booklet. In addition, all employees that are currently personally paying for their benefit plan premiums will receive information from OHR as well.

In addition, each of the payroll and benefit coordinators will be receiving 5 copies of the It’s Your Choice booklet (regular) booklet, 2 copies of the It’s Your Choice booklet (Graduate Assistant) and 2 copies of the ERA Summary for your office use.
