Former genetics grad student Kirsten Bomblies receives MacArthur Fellowship

Kirsten Bomblies, a genetics graduate student who trained under Joh Doebley (1999-04), has won a MacArthur Fellowship. This prestigious honor awards $500,000 over five years to the awardee. Kirsten is currently a postdoc in Detlief Weigel’s lab at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology. She will join the faculty at Harvard next July.
