The 24th annual Assistive Technology Expo 2008 will be held on Thursday, October 2nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Engineering Centers Building, 1550 Engineering Drive on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. An open exhibit area will be provided displaying some of the latest advances in technology to facilitate the full participation of people with disabilities in education, employment, and community life. In addition, there will be a keynote address at noon and a Computer Technologies Showcase, and a wheelchair maintenance workshop. The Expo is free and open to everyone.
