Center for Produce Safety announces $1 million competitive grant
The Center for Produce Safety Advisory Board (through the University of California, Davis) has reached a cooperative research agreement with the US-Israel Binational Agriculture Research Development Fund. This project will foster collaborative, mission-oriented research between U.S. and Israeli agricultural scientists, through competitive funding, based on scientists carrying out joint agricultural research in produce safety related areas. “This agreement will provide new actionable research that will support the Center for Produce Safety mission to provide ready-to-use science-based solutions that prevent or minimize produce safety vulnerabilities. Calls for proposals will be announced fall of 2008.
