Apply for Fulbright Scholar grants to support collaborations in South Africa

The Council for International Exchange of Scholars invites faculty members to apply for a Fulbright Scholar grant to support collaborations in South Africa. The grants could be used to lecture, conduct research or do both, in collaboration with an institution with which CALS has already developed shared goals. Apply by August 1 for 2009-2010.

U.S. citizenship is required; associate and full professors are preferred. Scholars in a wide range of disciplines are welcome. A letter of invitation from one of 22 South African higher education institutions needs to be submitted as part of the application. Grants can start as early as July 2009 or as late as February 2010 for six to eleven months. Take advantage of this tangible way to leverage your linkage in South Africa.
