Grants in international conservation biodiversity and economic growth

Higher Education for Development (HED), in cooperation with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), anticipates making up to two awards of up to $250,000 each in the area of Conservation of Biodiversity and Economic Growth as part of the U.S.–Mexico Training, Internships, Exchanges, and Scholarships Initiative. Applications due: June 20, 2008, 5 p.m. ET.

One of the awards is focused on linkages between small producers and financial services, the other on forestry and sustainable economic opportunities.
