The new dairy facility at the Arlington Agricultural Research Station will be completed on schedule by the end of May. In June our dairy herd moves into the new facility and starts to enjoy the comfort of loose housing. This $5.1 million, 500-cow facility is part of a phased upgrade of dairy facilities that started at the Marshfield Agricultural Research Station. The final phase of the Integrated Dairy Facility project will involve improvements to the facilities on the Madison campus, currently scheduled for the 2009-2011 biennium. The college plans on dedicating the new facility on the morning of July 30th. More information on the dedication event will follow. This entry was posted in Uncategorized by jsindelar.
