The WARF Gilson Discovery Series presents: “The Capital Food Chain for Entrepreneurs,” featuring Bill Payne, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Kauffman Foundation. The presentation and discussion begins at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2007. Networking, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6 p.m.
As an entrepreneur, engineer, and angel investor, Bill Payne has invested in more than 40 early-stage companies and served on the boards of more than two dozen. Since 1995, Bill has worked with the Kauffman Foundation as Entrepreneur-in-Residence and consultant to develop educational programs for entrepreneurs on their sources of capital. He will discuss how to structure the very early stages of financing for a new company and share lessons learned.
