EndNote Web is a new companion to EndNote Bibliographic Software (similar to RefWorks). EndNote Web is intended primarily as a complement to EndNote desktop.

  • EndNote Web provides online storage for references and an efficient means of collaboration with colleagues and students throughout the research and publishing process. You can import references from hundreds of online bibliographic databases, edit references—add notes, keywords—modify any field, and use over 2,300 publishing styles to format in-text citations and bibliographies.
  • For professional researchers and graduate students who depend on EndNote desktop features such as the ability to organize and cite images and manage PDFs and term lists, EndNote Web is the perfect complement to EndNote.
  • References can be transferred easily to and from Endnote Web directly to EndNote on the desktop.
  • Papers can be cited using both EndNote and EndNote Web, enhancing collaboration among colleagues.

EndNote Web may also be used as a stand-alone product independent of EndNote desktop version. It provides a bibliographic solution for undergraduate students and occasional writers. Search in a database of your choice, electronically transfer records to EndNote Web, and format a bibliography in the style of your choice.
