As CALS associate dean Rick Klemme moves to his new position as Interim Dean of Cooperative Extension, an experienced administrator will fill his shoes — for a short time. Agricultural economist Ed Jesse has agreed to serve as the Interim CALS Associate Dean and Agriculture and Natural Resources Program Leader during the search for the permanent position. “This should enable a very solid bridge from me to the new person,” says Klemme. Jesse held the extension associate dean position in the early 1990s.
