September 2021 update from University Bicycle Resource Center
The University Bicycle Resource Center is now open for in person drop in DIY bicycle repairs and classes! In compliance with UW policy, please wear a mask when you are in the shop. Our current class schedule and shop hours are posted at https://transportation.wisc.edu/bicycling/university-bicycle-resource-center/. If more physical distance than the shop can provide is your jam, check out our Air and Repair stations throughout campus. A map is at https://transportation.wisc.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/28/2017/12/Bicycle-Air-Repair-Station-and-Specialty-Parking-Locations-Map.pdf
Right now the shop has open hours
Monday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Tuesday 2:30 – 8 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Thursday 1 – 5 p.m.
Friday 1 p. m. – 8 p.m.
Stop by our free bicycle class “Flat Fix” next week on Tuesday, Sept 21st, 6-7:30pm. Feel free to bring your bike, just the front wheel, or just watch without your bike. The class will be taught by our excellent bicycle mechanics teacher, India Viola. If you can’t make it, a Youtube playlist of recordings of last year’s virtual classes is available at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNtejTllqtG8fFgXwjW_AtP8PhJwNrTG7 .
Have a great fall semester and be well.
