It is being sent to deans, vice chancellors, department chairs, governance leads, Administrative Council, Leadership Council, University Relations Council, VCFA directors, ASM leadership, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Council members and the Provost’s Executive Group.

Recent Activities
Monday, Dec. 14:
- Campus news featured an article about UW Health receiving its first shipment of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
- University Housing sent a reminder to residents to complete the “End of Semester Plans” form.
Tuesday, Dec. 15:
- The Office of Student Affairs shared a message about the formation of a new student advisory board to formalize student input on COVID-related decisions that directly affect them. The message was also featured in The Weekly.
- Inside UW shared an update on changes to the campus COVID-19 health and safety program for the spring semester.
- The Graduate School also provided an update to all of its students on new safety measures for the spring semester.
Wednesday, Dec. 16:
- Chancellor Blank shared her annual holiday message in a video, which was also featured in The Weekly and Inside UW.
- Working at UW featured articles on the initial phase of COVID-19 vaccinations available to certain members of the campus community, holiday travel and guidance, plans for spring semester testing and the second round of employee furloughs.
- The Weekly highlighted plans for expanded spring testing.
- University Housing sent an email to all undergraduate residents to advertise spring openings in the residence halls.
Thursday, Dec. 17:
- University Health Services (UHS) Executive Director Jake Baggot sent a message outlining plans for phase 1a COVID-19 vaccine distribution for eligible individuals. The message was also published in Inside UW.
- Inside UW also highlighted the mobile testing lab set up in lot 64 near the WARF building, as well as information on holiday travel guidance.
- University Housing sent an email to residents offering single room options for the spring semester.
- FP&M sent an email to building managers with important information about the spring semester and reminders about building access during winter break.
Friday, Dec. 18:
- Campus news featured an article identifying fourteen COVID-19 campus testing sites for the spring semester.
- University Housing sent an email to new spring housing residents highlighting spring semester updates.
- This week, the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign surpassed the 1 million test mark using their unique high-capacity saliva-based testing approach. UW shared information about their approach and program.
This will be the last issue for 2020. The next issue will be sent on January 8, 2021.
