Faculty and Instructional Staff Workshops: Developing International Internships

Do you have contacts in companies that work internationally?  Colleagues in overseas offices/labs who might host our students?  An international site where you’ve worked and to which you’d like to return with a group of students for practical application of what they’re learning in their classes?  An organization here in Wisconsin that could use the expertise of one of our international students?

In recognition of International Opportunities Month, the International Internships Program is hosting International Internships Development Workshops in the coming weeks.   These workshops for faculty and staff will introduce you to the work of the new International Internships Program office, and focus on how we can collaborate to identify, develop, organize, promote and/or lead an international internship/co-op experiences for students.  The faculty/staff sessions will also include information related to campus resources for supporting integration of international experiences into academic work.
