CALS Communicators Group to discuss summer courses – Feb. 21
The next CALS Communicators Group will be held Feb. 21. The topic of discussion will be summer term courses at UW-Madison. The meeting will cover information about why it’s a campus priority to expand course options and enrollment and how you can help promote and improve enrollment through your communication efforts. Student services coordinators are also invited to attend this meeting to help foster collaboration on department-level efforts related to this initiative.
Speakers include:
Sarah Barber and Amy Gunderson from the UW-Madison Division of Continuing Studies will give an overview of Summer Term courses and also walk through the communication toolkit they have developed.
Nikki Bollig, CALS Assistant Dean for Academic Programs and Policies, will share college-specific information and messaging.
Kristin Klarkowski, Student Services Coordinator from Life Sciences Communication, will talk about their department’s strategies for promoting summer courses and share success stories.
