International conservationist to present annual Aldo Leopold Lecture – May 8
Dr. M. Sanjayan, host of the PBS television series EARTH A New Wild, will visit the UW-Madison campus to present the 18th Annual Aldo Leopold Lecture. In his talk, titled Welcome to the New Wild: Saving Nature in a Human Dominated World, Sanjayan will show how wildlife and humans are co-existing in our modern world. He will describe some surprising ways in which wildlife and people can mutually benefit each other and explain why saving nature ultimately means saving ourselves.

A reception in the 1st floor atrium of Microbial Sciences Building will precede the lecture and begins at 2:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
