Academic staff nominees sought for new CALS Academic Planning Council position
The restructuring of the CALS Academic Planning Council, an effort that was guided by the College’s Strategic Planning process and finalized in December 2014, means that there are now two slots for academic staff with voting rights on the CALS APC.
One slot is being filled by Laura Good, an associate scientist in the soil science department, who was selected by the CALS Committee on Academic Staff Issues to fill this role during the transition period to the new APC structure.
The second slot is open, however, and CALS is currently taking nominations for this position. The term is for three years. CALS academic staff members may self-nominate or nominate another CALS academic staff member.
The ability to attend meetings is required, so please confirm that nominees are available on all meeting dates. Meeting dates and other information can be found at: http://apc.cals.wisc.edu/meetings/.
To nominate, please go to: https://uwmadison.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_e5wskVuTZPzeacB
Nominations are open to academic staff with at least a 50% appointment in CALS. Nominations will close May 13 at 4:30 p.m.
