David Hogg honored with Entomological Society of America award
David Hogg, professor and chair of entomology, has been honored with the C.V. Riley Award from the North Central Branch of the Entomological Society of America. The prestigious award recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the science of entomology, and Hogg was the unanimous choice with his impressive achievements in research, teaching and service.
Hogg’s research focuses on the ecology and management of insects associated with field crops, such as the soybean aphid, and he aims to develop non-chemical methods for managing. He is also interested in agricultural sustainability and organic agriculture.
